NOT A LOCK-IN
Students are invited to join us Friday, April 17th for our "Not A Lock In" event at the church from 5:00 - 11:00p! There will be pizza, snacks, games, a movie, and raffle prizes given away throughout the evening! Invite your friends and get additional entries! Contact Alex if your student plans on attending!
SUMMER MISSION TRIP
The youth group is going on a mission trip to WI Dells on June 25-28! We’ll be specifically reaching the large population of foreign exchange students who work there in the Summer. Is this trip the right fit for your student? We believe that Christ has commanded all his disciples, young and old, to uphold His Great Commission. Nevertheless, that can be a daunting task! That's why this trip has been specifically designed with youth group students in mind to give them an ideal introduction to evangelism and missions! Reach out to Alex if you'd like to hear more about why your student should go on this trip, or to sign up! The sign-up deadline is May 31st!
If your student is already signed up, come to our support-raising event on Sun, April 19th at 4:00p before youth group! (Be sure to bring the names/addresses of 10 people you know!)
discipleship groups
Discipleship groups are for students in grades 8-12 who desire to go deeper with their relationship with Christ. It will be a time spent in God's Word, learning what it means to be a disciplemaker for the Kingdom, and encouraging one another to make those uncomfortable next steps! Groups meet on the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays of every month: the guys at Alex's house from 6:00 - 7:30p, and the girls at Emma's house from 6:15 - 7:45p. Our next meeting will be on Wed, Apr. 22nd! We hope to see you there!
PREVIEW NIGHT
Is your student going to be in 6th grade next school year? Or, has your current middle/high school student yet to attend youth group? OSM's Preview Night is the perfect opportunity to get a feel for what goes on Sunday nights! Students in 5th - 12th grades are welcome to join us on Sun, May 3rd, from 6:00 - 8:00p for fun, fellowship, and a nacho bar! Not to mention, all first-time attendees will get a free t-shirt! See you there!
Senior Testimony Night
On Sun, May 17th, come hungry as we recognize our graduating Seniors with a barbecue! The night starts at 6:00p with hamburgers and hot dogs, followed by a time of sharing from the seniors, and fun games to end the night! You won't want to miss it! (Students can be picked up at 8:00p as normal.)
All students are welcome to arrive at 5:00p to join an evangelism workshop hosted by the missionaries we'll be serving with this Summer! (They don't need to go on the Mission Trip to attend this free workshop!)
