Others are being directed by Christ to find a place to serve. At Oakbrook we encourage people to answer God's call on their lives. We believe in gift-based, team ministry. Every believer is called into the ministry and we encourage people to serve in the area of their 'sweet spot' and passion. However you come, come and be blessed! .
The Church is God’s forever family. The Church is the hope of the world. It is a place where people are personally and individually valued. The Church is not a museum displaying perfect people. It is an oasis of rest, encouragement and instruction for fellow travelers on their spiritual journey. Oakbrook Church is not a perfect place with perfect people. Both our initiative and God's work in us are needed. "Work out your own salvation with fear and trembling for it is God who works in you, both to will and to work for His good pleasure." Philippians 2:12-13
