~ Loving Father set us at Oakbrook free from self-consciousness and self-absorption. Free us from anxiety about tomorrow and from the tyranny of the approval of others, that we may find our joy and delight simply and solely in Christ, that Oshkosh may know that You are the LORD.
~ Oh Lord, help the Oakbrook church family become a people whom you can use to lead people to faith in Christ.
~ Oh Lord, help us become serious about prayer and about personal spiritual growth.
~ Lord, help us as we stumble toward a “simple church” approach to make disciples. Help us to actually build a loving community that obeys Christ that is reaching our community that desperately needs Him.
~ Loving Father help us reach our children and youth with the gospel of Christ and train them to love and serve Him.
~ Continue praying for Dee Dewitt as she recovers from surgery. Pray for guidance in decision-making and for peace, healing and renewed physical strength.
~ John Anderson’s surgery went well. They think the cancer was contained to the prostate, but the lab results will tell us more next week. He is still in the hospital and was looking forward to coming home late this last week.
~ Jaxon Hardy continues growing stronger. He really messed his first diaper this week. He remains at Children’s Hospital in Wauwatosa. Continue praying for Chris, Karol and Jaxon.
~ Pray for Scott Barry as he looks for work.
~ Kyle Hoetschl is praising the Lord for his new job.
~ Continue praying for Tom Stephany who has brain cancer.
~ Please pray Sunny Strong, and Carolyn Spillane in their pregnancies.
~ Please pray for Lisa Barry’s brother Robbie who has an addiction to drugs. His family is being torn apart by because of this. Pray for God to intervene and for His guidance in this situation.
~ Also pray for Chris’ Uncle Lloyd.who has emphezema and recently found out he has pneumonia and a probability of lung cancer. Please pray that he feels well enough this week to go to his doctor in LaCrosse. Pray for comfort and that he may know the peace of our Lord and Savior. Please pray for strength for my aunt Jeanette to help Lloyd at this time.
~ Lisa Barry’s friend, Trish has had brain tumors and 4 surgeries in the past 12 years. She was only supposed to live 4yrs and it’s been 12 ! (ptl) She is a Christian and is putting all her faith in GOD. Please pray for her and her family.
