Grant and Deb Olson

The Olsons are with Audio Mission International in Budapest, Hungary.
Audio Mission International was founded in 1995 in response to the need for ministry materials in countries of the former Soviet Union, AMI began providing translated audio resources for evangelism and training to overseas ministries like Campus Crusade for Christ, the Association of Christian Schools International, the CoMission, and Prison Fellowship, among others.
The work of AMI soon expanded to serve over 60 ministry organizations providing, in addition to audio materials, graphic design services and video recording and production.
In 2004, at the invitation of Campus Crusade for Christ’s Eastern European office, AMI moved its operations to Budapest, Hungary to help spearhead a new initiative to train national Christians in over 18 countries in the use of print, audio/video, and internet skills. In addition to this training, AMI directs a team of media specialists in the creation of new, more effective evangelistic, spiritual growth and recruiting tools to further the spread of the Gospel in that region.
The Olsons moved their family to Budapest, Hungary in June, 2004, and despite four robberies in their first year, have enjoyed the transition into their new lives.
In addition to Grant’s media work, their family has prioritized hospitality and discipleship, seeking to build the Church through hosting Bible studies, pioneering a mentoring program at the International Christian School, and opening their home to hundreds of Hungarians and fellow missionaries.
The Olsons have 7 children: Elisabeth (8/88), Lauren (12/89), Lydia (11/00), Mandi (11/92), Anna (9/94), William (6/98).
