Everyone is on a spiritual journey. Behind the scenes a love song is being sung over you. “The LORD your God is with you, he is mighty to save. He will take great delight in you, he will quiet you with his love, he will rejoice over you with singing” (Zephaniah 3:17).If the Lord leads you to visit Oakbrook Church please know that you are welcome here. We are hopeful that you will find a church that is focused on Christ in worship and focused on God’s Word in study. We trust that our fellowship is warm and authentic. Some of you need rest. Come and find peace and renew your strength. Others come looking for a place to grow in your relationship with Christ. We are hopeful that you can do that here. Others are being directed by Christ to find a place to serve. At Oakbrook we encourage people to answer God's call on their lives. We believe in gift-based, team ministry. Every believer is called into the ministry and we encourage people to serve in the area of their 'sweet spot' and passion. However you come, come and be blessed!
The Church is God’s forever family. The Church is the hope of the world. It is a place where people are personally and individually valued. The Church is not a museum displaying perfect people. It is an oasis of rest, encouragement and instruction for fellow travelers on their spiritual journey.
Oakbrook Church is not a perfect place with perfect people. But it is a community of believers attempting to follow Christ with their whole hearts, to love each other and those around them deeply from the heart. Why not check out our family for yourself?
Church is not primarily about a Sunday morning service; it’s about enjoying life together in Christian community. Take a look at the various ministries and small groups at Oakbrook and take time in prayer considering how you could be more involved in God’s great work here at Oakbrook.
The essence of being a disciple is taking personal responsibility for our own spiritual growth. Spiritual growth also depends on God's sovereign grace. Both our initiative and God's work in us are needed. "Work out your own salvation with fear and trembling for it is God who works in you, both to will and to work for His good pleasure." Philippians 2:12-13
Bottom line, God's desire is that we take initiative to grow in our relationship with Him. The tools provided here are meant to help.

God’s church is not called to hide the truth of the gospel and the love of God, but to share it with everyone and every nation. Here are some pages about Oakbrook’s involvement in that mission to see every tribe, tongue, and nation worshiping our Lord.
