Week 3, Framing & Trusses
Posted on Monday, September 17th, 2007The third week of building the Oakbrook Church was spent building the second-story floor and setting the roof trusses. The church is starting to take shape. The weather was absolutely beautiful through out the weekend. Thanks to the many volunteers who came and helped build. Check out the pictures below taken during the weekend.
This next week we plan to frame up the walls of the second story, and set the second-story roof trusses. We are also planning to put on the roof sheathing and tar paper. If you enjoy framing or just driving nails with a nail gun, come this weekend as we continue to frame up the Oakbrook Church.
